About Emma
Emma Whitehall is an autistic author and bookseller from the North East of England. Her books are published with Northodox Press.
Emma is passionate about writing exciting, funny fantasy novels for Teen readers that are Queer, Northern and Neurodiverse. A reviewer for Heretical called her book ‘a Saturday morning cartoon’ and it was the proudest moment of her career.
Emma also writes articles about books and writing, and has been featured in The Bookseller and Mslexia magazine.
When she’s not writing, Emma works at the bound in Whitley Bay (part of Forum Books); an award-winning independent bookshop where she spends her time getting overly excited about new releases and drinking a ridiculous amount of hot chocolates. She also runs the bound’s YA Book Club.
